Project Overview

I led the redesign and launch of Avantio Integration Portal 2.1 in partnership with igloohome to simplify guest access management for vacation rental property managers. The project centralized smart lock, booking, and access control features within the Avantio dashboard, eliminating the need to switch between multiple platforms and improving efficiency, accuracy, and overall user experience.

The Problem

The original Avantio Integration Portal (v1.0) had limited functionality and a highly fragmented workflow:

• PIN retrieval was not intuitive

• Lock setup required moving between three different platforms

• Revoking access for cancelled bookings was time-consuming

• Managing large lock inventories was inefficient and error-prone
