Project Overview
This project focused on redesigning Gotrade’s referral program to improve discoverability, usability, and user motivation, addressing a high-value feature that lacked visibility and continuity. The case study highlights how strategic UX design can transform an underutilized referral flow into a scalable, growth-driven experience aligned with both user incentives and business goals.
My Approach
I approached the redesign with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and motivation. I added a persistent referral entry point to ensure continuity while retaining banners as a secondary discovery surface, and simplified the referral flow to reduce friction.
To drive engagement, I designed a tiered rewards system with visible progress indicators and real stock incentives, and made referral activity and rewards transparent and easy to track.
